The internet has created several millionaires and I'm sure we all want a piece of the Youtube pie.
With the little YouTube sensation Ryan, from Ryan's Toy Reviews that made over $11 million dollars last year, I'm sure you will be happy if you even made 10% of that.
So if you are looking to make money online doing toy reviews, I would like to give you a hand.
There are three ways to do this and I will like to go over them with you so that you can decide which route to take.
These methods are proven to work and if done right, you can make a lot more money than you think.
So let's get right into things as there is more to it than just reviewing toys and having money put right into your bank account.
This is the most common way young adults and even kids are making a fortune these days and there are no signs of it slowing down either.
I personally prefer the second method on this list, but this is the most common way people are making money doing any type of product reviews.
But if you want to make money by telling people what toys do and what you think of them, you can very much make money from the internet through you very own vlog.
For those of you technical folks, a vlog is a video web log on ones interests.
Vlogging is nothing more than recording a video of yourself (or anything really) and uploading it into YouTube to not just share your interest and/or life but also to make some money.
If you garner a solid following as well as views to your videos, you can make the big bucks that you see a lot of these Vloggers are making.
So if you want, you can learn how to start a vlog here and learn a thing or two before you become another statistic of those failed vloggers who simply didn't know any better.
How You Will Make Money
YouTube is not doing anything for free and I don't think Google will ever allow that to happen even if they were making more money than Jeff Bezos.
I'm sure you've seen all the ads that pop up all over YouTube.
My kids are always on there and the way advertising works is an ever changing thing when it comes to these big companies.
From what once used to be shown at the bottom of videos can now be seen dead smack in the middle of your favorite YouTuber's vid.
Anyways, these same ads that you see are paid for by the many businesses that you encounter on a daily basis.
Whether it's a local grocery store in your town, a big named company like Walmart, or even an online service provider, those are the types of advertising you will see on YouTube.
On the other side of the business is where the YouTuber will get paid.
For every X amount of views a page gets will determine how much that YouTube channel will make.
There is no exact formula to this but you can use this calculator to get a rough estimate of what YouTubers are making these days.
There are just too many factors that come into play when it comes time to getting paid so at the very least, just know that you can make anywhere from $.05 – $10 per thousand views.
Being that YouTube is ran by google, you will be involved with their Adsense program that will pay you for having different ads on your channel.
This is paid per view system and is dependent on the same stuff I mentioned above.
Another way you can make money through your vlog will be by getting some sponsors featured on your videos.
You may have seen some YouTubers mention that they are being sponsored by so and so, which of course means that they were paid to do that.
As a person reviewing toys, you can very much get free toys sent to you and you will simply feature that product and still get paid.
How cool is that?
Pretty cool if you ask me.
This is mainly for those of you who are not into videos.
Unlike a vlog, you will be doing these toy reviews through a blog.
Minus the video part of things and you simply have a web log, which is nothing more than a log of whatever you are interested in that is stored on this thing called the world wide web.
Blogging is the same exact way I make my living and this is also what you can do if you were to simply review something so simple as toys.
Instead of recording videos, you will be doing the same exact thing I did to create this post.
By doing a simple 500-2,000 words on a toy is a great way to make money from the internet.
Of course there is a lot more to this but that is why there are sites like the Wealthy Affiliate that can teach you how to do all of this.
How You Will Make Money
With blogging, there are several ways to make money, with advertising being the obvious one.
Just like vlogging, you will feature ads on your site and make money.
However, this time you will make money if and when people click on an ad if you do decide to go with Google's Adsense program.
The great thing about the web is that there are other ad providers that can also get you some pay per view going.
With a blog, you will actually make more with advertising, so just imagine how much you can make with even just a thousand visitors a day.
If you were to get 100,000 visitors to your site in a single day, you will make way more money than you would with a vlog.
The main way people are making money with vlogs is through this thing called affiliate marketing.
By becoming affiliated with companies like Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, etc., you will then be able to get your personal links from which you can link to different products on said sites.
If someone on your blog was to click on that link and purchase something from any company you are affiliated with, you will make a commission that can range anywhere from 1% – 75% depending on who you are working with.
Bloggers get paid through Adsense and directly from the affiliate program they are connected to.
They pay through check, Paypal, direct deposit, and several other ways, depending on what these companies offer.
Make Money – Millions if Done Right
Toy companies are wanting to get their name and product out there and there's no better way to do it than by having kids play with these toys.
This is also why they are willing to give a product that is $20 with the chance to make millions thanks to these YouTube channels that have a solid reputation and following.
Vlogging and blogging are both great ways to make a living and I am 100% sure that you will make money if you use any of the two methods mentioned above as long as you can understand several things that most people can't.
Success Will Not Happen Overnight
Most people start a blog or vlog and quit within a couple of months.
Rome was not built overnight and the same thing applies to any website or vlog.
Do you think Amazon started making millions of dollars?
Of course not.
As a matter of fact, they were never in profit for years but the were backed by someone who believed the company would grow over time.
That same thing applies to your site but at least you won't need to wait years.
If you can wait a couple of months to a year before you see any profits, then you, my friend will be setting yourself up for success.
You Need to Work
If you think that buying a domain name and setting up a YouTube channel is going to make you money then don't even waste your time.
Content is key in this industry and you will need to produce content regularly if you want to compete.
One video/blog post is really all you need a day and if you can do exactly that, you will succeed online.
I hope this post has given you more than enough information on what you can consider your next business venture as this is truly an amazing opportunity.
If you need any help setting up shop, feel free to leave your questions in the comments section below and I will help you with whatever problems you may have.
Do not let anyone tell you that you can not make money reviewing toys or you will never see the true potential of what you plus the internet can produce.
Thanks for reading and happy blogging/vlogging!
